2014

Present Creating Natural Light Lumia Stabiles and Mobiles using optically reactive materials.

1996 -2014

Experimented with 3D software to build virtual Lumia machines and record Digital Visual Music. In parallel, continued working with shadow, light, color and motion to create physical compositions, portraits, landscapes and sculptures.

1984 -1995

Experimented with the early commercial applications for digital image creation and production.

1980 - 1984

Produced and performed live Lumia performances at festivals, galleries and planetariums.

1979

Invented and patented the Photon Guitar, an analog live performance visual music instrument.

1978 - 1984

Built and Operated a Lumiagraph studio in Worcester MA.

One off Lumiagraph prints were exhibited in the US and UK.

They were sold as commissioned covers optical industry publications.

1975

Awarded Rockefeller grant to create video with WGBH Paik Abe Synthesizer, titled "Primordial Soup".

1973 - 1978

Created Lumia for performances at Avant Garde Festivals in New York City.

1972

Earned a BFA in Experimental Studios from Syracuse University.
